We process this data in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (“General Data Protection Regulation”, hereinafter “G.D.P.R.”) and the relevant national legislation on personal data protection.

MAJESTIC SPLENDOR SRL (hereinafter “the Company” or “We”) is the administrator of the website www.aryannakaren.com. The Company has the following identification details: registered office in Bragadiru, 29 Verii Street, Villa 1, Room 1, Ilfov County, VAT ID RO46444613 and Trade Register number J23/4515/2022.

The Company represents the Aryanna Karen wedding dress brand (founded in Romania in 2014, with over 21 years of experience in the field). Aryanna Karen dresses are designed for brides who dream of an outfit straight out of a fairytale, with impressive volume and hand-crafted embellishments.

  • HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The Company, as the Operator, processes the personal data of employees, individual clients, contractual partners and collaborators, as well as the data of other individuals who interact with the Company and/or are engaged in contractual relationships with it.

Personal data are:

  • processed lawfully, fairly and transparently in relation to the data subject;
  • collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes;
  • adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed;
  • accurate and kept up to date;
  • stored in a form that permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data are processed;
  • processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, by implementing appropriate technical or organizational measures.
  • WHAT TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE ARE THEY PROCESSED?

For the purpose of completing and submitting the order form for goods sold (you access one of the sections “Home”, “Wedding Dresses”, “Bridal Shoes”, “Bridal Tiaras”, select the product, click the buttons Add to Cart – Buy Now – Checkout and complete the order form) on the Company’s website www.aryannakaren.com, we process the following types of personal data: first name, last name, home/delivery address, city, county, postal code, phone number, email address.

You have the option to subscribe to the Newsletter by checking the specific box and to add any additional information regarding your order in the “Additional Information” section.

Check the agreement/consent box “I have read and agree with the Privacy Policy and with the Terms and Conditions” and click the “Place order” button.

For the purpose of completing and submitting the form for publishing a comment (access the “Blog” – Publish a comment section) on the Company’s website www.aryannakaren.com, we process the following types of personal data: last name, first name, email address, website and any additional information in the Comment. section.

Check the agreement/consent box “I have read and agree with the Privacy Policy”, and click the “Publish comment” button.

For the purpose of creating a Customer Account on the Company’s website www.aryannakaren.com (click the “User” icon at the top right of the main page – “Register”), the following is processed: email address. You have the option to subscribe to the Newsletter by checking the corresponding box, and then click the “Register” button.

Similarly, to log in to an already created account, click the “User” icon at the top right of the main page – Login, the following is processed: last name and first name, a chosen password is entered, and finally click the “Login” button.

For the purpose of completing and submitting the order tracking form (access the “Order Tracking” section at the bottom right of the homepage on the Company’s website www.aryannakaren.com), we process the email address used for billing and the order ID. Finally, click the “Track” button.

We do not use your personal data to send you marketing communications, such as Newsletters, unless you explicitly consent to such communications by checking a consent box. In this case, we process only your email address and ensure you have a simple option to unsubscribe at any time, i.e., to withdraw your consent to receive these types of communications.

  • WHAT ARE THE LEGAL GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA?

Your personal data are processed for:

  • the conclusion and performance of various contracts;
  • for fulfilling our legal obligations;
  • based on the consent requested and/or previously given (for sending marketing communications, etc.);
  • for the purpose of the legitimate interests pursued by the Company (e.g.: adopting measures to protect and ensure the safety of our employees, exercising the Company’s rights and legitimate interests in contentious or non-contentious proceedings, etc.)
  • HOW LONG DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Personal data are stored for processing for the period necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned in this Policy or for the period required by law (e.g., for archiving, accounting, etc.)

  • TO WHOM DO WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL DATA?

We will not disclose or transfer to any third party any of the personal data collected from or about you, except:

  • Public authorities and institutions – when there is a legal obligation to do so or for a legitimate interest (defending the Company’s rights in contentious or non-contentious proceedings, etc.)
  • The Company’s contractual partners or collaborators who provide us with services: web hosting, SEO optimization for the website www.aryannakaren.com (UPDIGITAL ONLINE SERVICES SRL), website maintenance, online marketing and marketing communications.

Where applicable, we may transmit or grant access to certain of your personal data to the following categories of recipients:

  • Courier companies/delivery services: (e.g. Sameday Courier) – in order to deliver parcels containing the ordered products, we will provide them with the data necessary for delivery: name, delivery address, contact phone number, possibly email (for delivery notifications). The courier will use this data strictly for the transport service and will comply with legal provisions regarding data protection.
  • Electronic payment processors: – for managing online payments, payment data is processed by our partners who provide the payment infrastructure (e.g. bank card processors, Apple Pay / Google Pay integrators). They act as controllers or processors (as applicable) and are subject to data security obligations. We do not access or store your full card details, but we will receive confirmations regarding the payment status.
  • Marketing / email service providers: – if we send newsletters or bulk emails, we may use a third-party platform (e.g. MailChimp, SendGrid or others) to which we will provide subscribers’ email addresses. Such platforms act as processors and have data protection obligations.
  • Any third party – if you have given your explicit and specific consent for that particular situation and those specific data.

If the personal data processed by the Company is transferred by it directly or through its contractual partners/collaborators outside the European Economic Area, we assure you that these transfers take place in compliance with the GDPR (especially Article 46 of the GDPR), applicable legal provisions in the field, based on appropriate safeguards (standard data protection clauses adopted by the Commission) and provided that enforceable rights and effective remedies for data subjects exist.

  • WHAT PROTECTION MEASURES AND GUARANTEES DO WE TAKE?

The company implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a high level of security and protection of personal data. We use security methods and technologies, together with internal policies and procedures, including control and audit measures, to protect personal data collected in accordance with the relevant legal provisions on personal data protection.

  • WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT?

Any data subject may exercise the following rights, as provided by the General Data Protection Regulation:

  • Right of access;
  • Right to rectification;
  • Right to erasure;
  • Right to restriction of processing;
  • Right to data portability;
  • Right to object to processing;
  • Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling;
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (www.dataprotection.ro) and with the courts of law.
